Ashiatsu Barefoot Bodywork

By far, Ashiatsu provides the most luxurious and beneficial massage on the planet. The work is done with the therapist’s heel and outer edge of the foot, instep and toes. The combination of gravitational force and the therapist’s pressure and flow creates changes in the body’s soft tissue, affording deep relaxation and muscle tension relief. The pressure can be as light as a Swedish massage or the deepest massage a therapist can give.

Swedish Massage

This massage utilizes long, gliding and soft strokes; combined with kneading and friction as well as alternating tempos of the massage strokes. Swedish massage promotes relaxation and stress relief. This is a light massage which stimulates improved circulation as well as promoting a heightened sense of well-being.

Deep Tissue Massage

Releases muscle tightness and associated areas of chronic pain by working deeply into the muscle tissue and fascia. Recommended for chronically tight or painful muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems or recovery from injury. Ashiatsu massage is the BEST technique to use for deep tissue massage. It provides the deepest massage without the painful poking often associated with deep tissue work when a therapist uses fingers, knuckles, or elbows.

Sports Massage

This massage relieves fatigue and stress in muscles before or after sports events. This is typically a stimulating massage that incorporates stretching and invigorating techniques. It is useful for the prevention of soreness in muscles and also helps to improve the mobility of joints and healing of muscles. Depending on your individual needs hands and Ashiatsu technique may both be used or just one.

Couples Massage

Couples massages are provided for husband and wife, mother and daughter or just plain friends. Its an enjoyable way to experience a massage if you have never had one before. You are both massaged in the same room, at the same time, by two different therapists. It is also a great way to introduce a partner, relative, or friend who has never received a massage before in a way that makes them feel more comfortable the first time. As always, each client will receive a customized massage using a variety of techniques to meet their current needs.

4-Handed Massage

If two hands are better than one, then it stands to reason four hands are divine. This incredible massage therapy experience entails two therapists to simultaneously massage the client by adjusting the pressure in each area of the body for a balanced experience. This can also be of use when you have a lot of therapy work to be done in a shorter amount of time. This is double the relaxation. You can choose to get a Four Hand massage in any type of massage technique for any amount of time an hour or more. Ashiatsu can also be included in the massage to increase relaxation and results. The result is the mind cannot focus on four hands massaging you at the same time so it just relaxes. This synchronized session allows you to enjoy a deeper sense of peace than with a traditional massage. It releases energy and endorphins throughout the body more quickly.
